Food is good but they need to have more choice on the menu. Multiple gests in my party didn't received the salads they ordered but were still charged extra for.

1st time at this restaurant to finish 2023 and start 2024, food was great but the young man that served us tall blonde hair, was extremely good and professional with the service he gave us. Recommend this restaurant to all the people who wants good food and be served with a smell.

We went for super on a Friday. We order a Tarama and fried calmar. Both were good. Then I ordered the shish kabab and my wife ordered the shrimp. She really enjoyed her plate but my shish kabab was dry and hard. Very hard to eat.

Food was ok, but not good enough for the price , the place was very busy and they did not have enough staff, because of that, the service was ok, not great. The restaurant is also very loud.

We returned to an old friend with old friends. As we entered, we quickly recognized the manager (our former server of years past) and got a little reaquainted at the door. A few changes since our last visit pre-COVID, maybe 2018, but it remains clean, comfortable, and familiar. Between us, we ordered escargot, caesar salad, salmon, chicken brochettes, and grilled chicken with mustard, cheese, etc. We all agreed that the chicken was far from dry, the salads were crisp and fresh, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Portions are not as large as they used to be, but that's a positive comment. I can now eat everything on my plate and not feel bad about not finishing my meal. We were all too full for dessert. Maybe next time! Service was excellent and paced just right. My water glass was always refilled before I had a chance to empty it. We went on a Wednesday night, around 6 pm. I always find weekends over-crowded anywhere and enjoy the peace of week nights. We will definitely be back for more!

Welcome to Vieux Duluth, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Terrebonne, Quebec. Located at 1777 Chem. Gascon, this restaurant stands out as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts who appreciate a diverse menu and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re in search of a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends, Vieux Duluth promises to cater to your cravings.

From the glowing reviews, it's clear that patrons have found something special here. Customer Adam Seale raved about the Filet Mignon cooked to perfection, complemented by succulent butterfly shrimp and golden potatoes. His praise for the Caesar salad highlights a freshness that has set a new standard for his dining experiences. The friendly staff and inviting ambiance add to the overall charm of this eatery.

However, as with any dining establishment, Vieux Duluth has its room for improvement. Patrons like Andre Beaulieu noted a desire for a broader menu selection, and some guests have reported occasional miscommunication regarding orders. Still, the professionalism displayed by staff, particularly a certain tall, blonde server mentioned by Benoit Laporte, showcases a commitment to excellent customer service, which is a vital aspect of any great dining experience.

While the menu features some delectable highlights, like the shish kabab and fried calamari, not every dish has hit the mark for all. As Dino1164 pointed out, the shish kabab may need some attention; balance is key to a satisfying meal. On busy evenings, the hustle and bustle can create a lively atmosphere, but as noted by Alexandre Coulombe, this can also lead to challenges in service consistency.

In summary, Vieux Duluth encapsulates the essence of fine dining with a local twist. With dishes that evoke flavors from the heart of Quebec and a commitment to service, it beckons both new visitors and returning guests. If you’re in the area or planning a trip to Terrebonne, this restaurant deserves a spot on your itinerary. Discover the fusion of flavors and the welcoming ambiance that Vieux Duluth has to offer; your taste buds will thank you!
